Not the sexiest match for the year, but a match that I usually call a six-point match. Now, I think that Benevento has probably accepted his fate and does not believe in the contract, but at home and against one of the league’s clearly weakest teams, one has to win for victory. I have in previous posts written about Benevento’s naive games and there is nothing that suggests that they will change the game style. Benvento lost the last match with 6-2 and in the game they got their goalkeeper expelled. He misses the match against Verona. Guilherme is one of the few players I like in Benevento’s squad and he scored against Lazio, hoping it strengthens his confidence and he delivers to Verona. Benvento has 10/14 over 2.5 goals at home. However, it should be said that Benenveto only made 14 goals themselves, but now there are two weak defenses that meet each other and two teams that will win for the victory.
Verona lost 3-0 against my Inter. However, it should be more goals, both teams hit the post and it was actually amazing that there were no more goals in the match. Uncertain if Kean will be able to participate in this match, but Cerci got a run-in last and he had a big boost for the club. I have previously written that I absolutely do not like attacking Petkovic in Verona. Nothing has changed here, but hopefully even he can make a goal against Benevento’s weak defense. It was not only Benevento goalkeeper who was expelled last but also Veronas goalkeeper was expelled and missed this match. Veronar has 22 points and 17th place gap has 26 points. Benevento is clearly the weakest team in the league and Verona must only win this match. Verona has 9/14 over 2.5 goals away, but here too I have to point out that Verona has only scored 13 goals. But there are two offensively balanced teams that meet where there are clear deficiencies in the defense and I believe in an open and objective match here! Extra important here with as early a goal as possible then I think it will swing really!
